Bulletstorm

Bulletstorm hit shelves today and I have to say that its pretty awesome. I haven't played a ton but so far what I can tell you is that it seems like a faster paced version of Borderlands. Its got a great story and the game play is amazing. The Skillshot system is one of the coolest features, and it makes killing enemy's a bit more gory and interesting. The Boss battles are difficult but not so much that you rage quit and shut off the system. Make sure that you pay attention because the game will give you hints here and there to tell you when a difficult battle is on its way. Everything that you earn in the game depends on how creatively you destroy your enemy's using several unique guns and the environment to do so. The Skillshot system also has a lot to with that so use it when the opportunity arises

The game has a very cinematic feel and does an amazing job of sucking you in right away. The sound and picture quality is some of the best that I've had the chance to experience. So far this is the best thing Epic Games has produced and I can't wait to get back to it. I'm giving this title a 5 out of 5 so go and grab a copy as soon as you can!

Borderlands 2

I've been on a pretty big Borderlands kick as of late so I thought that I would write some about Borderlands and what I would like to see in Borderlands 3. I fell in love with Borderland the second I put it in. I instantly absorbed myself into the story while I was stunned by the outstanding comic book style graphics. Although I consider this an RPG, but unlike most RPG's this game wasn't carried by the story it was carried by some of the most amazing game play I ever encountered. I'm saying the story is bad either, its actually quote well done, it's just that the game play of this game is just that good.

Some additions in the next game that I would like to see is maybe a few more vehicles. I'm not looking for tanks by any means but just a few more varieties of the the one they had in the first one. I would say that some player vs player online game mode would be nice, but I fear with that people would want to try and turn it into just another FPS and forget that its not what the game is about. Playing online with friends is pretty sick,  but i think that maybe adding more enemy's when playing like that might make the game a little more intense and fun. This game doesn't have to be different but just a few tweaks here and there so it isn't the same game twice would be nice. That usually is a very uncommon thing for me to say. I usually want to change lots of things about a game so for me to say something like that you know it has to be good.

I hope those of you who haven't tried this game go and get it. If you buy it used it can't be more than 20 or 30 bucks and the DLC is totally wort the 1600 microsoft points I paid for it and it might be even cheaper now. I put easily 100 hrs into the game and still counting. So you know the replay value id extremely high. I know a few people that still play with me online from time to time. So seriously check it out.

Help Wanted for Playstation 3 reviews

I'm not a PS3 owner and I would like to have products involving the PS3 on my blog. I could steal some stuff from other people on the web, but I would really like to have one of my followers either do it, or maybe get some suggestions on where I should steal my reviews from. Please tell me if your interested or know someone who might be! Thanks for everything guys!

Kinect

The Kinect is a revolutionary piece f gaming equipment thats been ut for a few months now so I decided to write a review on it.  It uses both body and voice recognition so you can interact with your xbox in ways you never could before. Your body and voice take place of your controller and give you a new way to play video games. All of this is great for kids or people that don't really play video games, but when it comes to the hardcore gamer this stuff is just a gimick that yu shouldn't buy into. Nothing about it is precise enough that it would be feesable for anything other than the family fun type games that they make for it. Plain and simple if you have a young family, you should buy this because you can have a lot of fun with it. But everyone else, save the money and buy some new games. This technology needs a good 10 yrs before its actually useful to us hardcore gamers.

FPS Freak by Kontolfreak

This is the FPS freak, and already I know that you think it's a pointless marketed to those with too much time on their hands and money to burn....  And I think that you are exactly right! What they are designed to do is grant FPS players a higher range of motion making it easier to play on higher sensitivity settings. What I think it does is make the controller bulky and uncomfortable to hold.

The system does accomplish its goal, but it seems to me that you have to "claw grip" the controller for them to be comfortable but I also find that to get in my way more than anything. But if you want think that running a higher sensitivity is what your game is missing then I suggest that you pick up a set. They are rather inexpensive msrp $20 but there is a special running on the website http://www.kontrolfreek.com and they are half price right now from there.
If any of you have tried them or have something to add I would love to hear it. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my page!

New Game Ideas!

Today I was reading http://leveling-up.blogspot.com and he described a very interesting take on Inception game idea, and it got me thinking about new game ideas and what the next level is going to be.  I've been playing a lot of Black Ops so my mind went right into that military style game. I starting think about a CoD style RPG that involves you planing some on the field type officer and you are granted choices about how to deal with certain situations. For instance, the Japanese have taken control of a nuclear sub that holds a fusion system that could solve the worlds energy crisis. You obvoiusly can't destroy the sub so how do you get this equipment back to US soil before the Japs seize world power? You would have to develop an infiltration plan gather your team and then take your team on to the battle field and get to the end of the mission. The goal of course being getting that or peace of valuable information back from the enemy safely. Now of course you would have to survive the mission, if you don't you then are transfered in your replacement have have to try to get it back another way or suffer with the consequences of mission failure whatever that might be. The difficulty would be insane and the production value would have to be astronomical to make something like this work, but in the end I can just see the hell I would go through in a game like this and would welcome such a challenge. Please share your ideas with me, I want to see what everyone else has in mind!
